2006 R'OWN STYLE BLEND

Ruby-garnet in hue. Scents of dark cherry, cranberry, pomegranate and hints of cardamom. Tightly-knit, it can use some aeration in its youth to allow the flavors to unfold. Bright strawberry and rhubarb flavors are highlighted by candied red licorice and hot cinnamon spice. Medium in weight with fine-grained tannins, this wine will benefit from some cellaring. Drink over the next three to six years.

Recommended Food Pairing:
Pan-seared duck breast with caramelized red onion, red wine reduction, China black rice and sautéed vegetable ragout.
